Hello Life brings integrated community and home-based support to children and families, helping them overcome barriers to care and build stronger, more resilient lives.
PROVIDING SUPPORT CLOSE TO HOME
Created by the Municipality of Lezhë, Hello Life responds to the lack of accessible services for vulnerable families and children with disabilities, particularly in rural and low-income areas. The Multifunctional Community Centre brings together educational, psychosocial, and parental support services under one roof, while a mobile team delivers developmental therapy, speech therapy, and physiotherapy directly to children in their homes. This combined approach ensures that support reaches families who might otherwise face obstacles related to distance, cost, or social stigma.
BRINGING SERVICES TOGETHER FOR EVERY FAMILY
Hello Life introduces a coordinated model in which psychologists, social workers, teachers, and therapists work together to provide personalised support. Children receive tailored educational and developmental assistance, while parents participate in counselling sessions and support groups that strengthen their ability to continue care at home. By combining centre-based programmes with home visits, the initiative creates a flexible and inclusive system that addresses the needs of children and families in a holistic way.
HELPING CHILDREN AND COMMUNITIES THRIVE
The project has improved school performance and social skills for children, strengthened family wellbeing, and increased awareness of children’s rights across the community. Home-based services have enhanced communication, independence, and quality of life for children with disabilities while reducing the need for costly private therapies. Parents receive guidance and support that improve caregiving skills and open pathways to employment and economic independence. Through its integrated approach, Hello Life promotes social inclusion and helps build stronger and more resilient communities.
